New Zealand Soap Box Derby Winner! »After a very successful Whangaparaoa Rotary Soap Box Derby on Saturday 6 April at Brightside Road the New Zealand Nationals were held at the same venue on Sunday 7 April with teams travelling from the four venues of West Auckland, East Auckland, Northcote and of course Whangaparaoa. The winner was a local boy from Orewa College, Dylan Smith who will travel to Akron, Ohio in the USA in July to compete in the International Division of the All American Soap Box Derby  Tuesday, 09 April 2013 17:47

Orewa Cruise Night

From 7pm till late, Orewa's main road will become "Orewa's cruise night". This is open to all American, Australian, hotrods, performance & classic cars to cruise. The main meeting area is Orewa comminute car park Florence ave. Cruising from 7pm with hourly. Cruise from 8pm 9pm & 10pm food is available from many of the local venues throughout Orewa. The route is from Florence ave to centerway road return & this is as many times as you like.
