Biz Kids launch at The Plaza »
Biz Kids launched their first market at The Plaza on Sunday 19 May.
The brainchild of the recently appointed Manager at The Plaza, Anne Murphy, who is keen to inject some new initiatives around the area, and with assistance from local business woman, Christina Galvin, of Mums the Word, the team gathered together some of our Hibiscus Coast innovative kids to showcase their talents and sell their wares giving them an opportunity not previously available.
19 stalls were set up and managed successfully on the day with a wide variety of goods from baked goods, handmade crafts, hot donuts, jewellery and busking!

June, of Ngapuhi ancestry, was well-known on Auckland’s live music entertainment scene having played concerts, festivals, corporate events, weddings, parties and everything in between with various musicians and big bands until the sudden death of her son Hayden in 2010 put a stop to all that.
