LINKU2 HIBISCUS COAST
Originally started in 2004 as Hibiscuslink, a one stop shop for all local needs for the Hibiscus Coast, this site was innovative and forward thinking beyond its time. Promoting everything local from sports clubs to pet shops the site was designed to include a full local business directory but distinguished it's uniqueness by it's sense of localness, it's free open community and it's pages providing comprehensive and free local information.
In 2010, Hibiscuslink was amalgamated into the launch and rebrand of The Linku2 Ltd Group with it's distinctive "smile" branding and became Linku2 Hibiscus Coast. That same year Auckland Council's amalgamated into the "Super City" and three years later in 2013 Linku2 launched Linku2 North Shore.
It was decided to merge Linku2 Hibiscus Coast and amalgamate it within the North Shore site. Linku2 Hibiscus Coast shut it's doors in 2014. However, by 2016, with the rapid growth and development around the Coast and continuous disappointment from locals that Linku2 considered the Coast as part of the North Shore it became clear there was indeed a need for a separate site and so began the development of a new and better Hibiscus Coast site, mobile friendly, modern and fitting with the Linku2 Brand which by this time had 4 other sites (see below).
Relaunched on 1 August 2017 Linku2 Hibiscus Coast is back!
The only thing paid for on Linku2 Hibiscus Coast, as with all the Linku2 sites, is upgraded business listings for local business to more easily reach their specific target audience and through which support Linku2 Hibiscus Coast is able to provide all other services totally free for our local community.
