Transfer Stations
You can take waste that is not suitable for kerbside collection to a transfer station. Most transfer stations accept garden waste, large household waste, hazardous household waste and scrap metal but you should check what you can take before you go. Public Holiday Collections
Auckland Council rubbish and recycling collections, with some exceptions, happen one day later than usual after a public holiday. The only exception in our local area is for the North Shore there are no changes to business evening kerbside rubbish bag collection and business recycling and paper/cardboard collections.
